@rachelQrtJHBjb  My son bought me the Bosch with my age in mind! To me it is lightweight and easy to get in and out of the shed. (Just like pushing a pram). Had it out this afternoon in the heat and have a large area to mow and the battery has never run out of charge. Just remember to put it on charge when I've finished which is something else which is so easy. I think your Mum would notice the difference once she had tried it out. It's a pleasure to use.
Thanks Fran. Will look at our local machinery supplier to see if they stock it.

My new mower came today, gave it a run out on the lawn and i must say i'm impressed. I probably could have gone for one cheaper, i did all 3 of my lawns and still had 3 bars on the battery indicator.

  • After having two petrol mowers die on us after just two years I’m so glad we have the clean, quick cordless mower too. Have 2 batteries for it but it’s so easy to use and fingers crossed it’s still reliable.

When my current petrol mower dies, hopefully not for a long time yet, I'll be going the same route.  I strained my back getting the petrol one into the car to get it serviced.
