Hanging basket advice, not looking as good as was

Hello
My hanging baskets are starting to look patchy. The purple petunia are growing down wards not tall, how can I get then to grow tall? The pink patunia basket is now looking patchy, I don't know why, as it was very full a month ago. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I think the whole point of growing plants in a hanging basket is that some of them trail downwards.
Your baskets look just fine. I’d have no complaints if they were mine.
A bit  of tomato feed in the water once a week will keep them going through to the end of the season.

Looks good to me. I wish I had your problem.  My petunias are growing up in my baskets, not trailing much, as planned. Ho hum. I'll be sure to check the labels better in future. Better than a poke in the eye with a chopstick.
