New seeded lawn going wrong

over the past few months I have been overseeing my lawn due to its being bare. The seed came through perfectly  however over the past few days Iv been getting brown spots show up and as soon as Iv notice them they look dead  

please can I have some advice as it’s spreading quick

    Don't seem to be having much luck at the moment @murphy973s5yIebP, so l'm just wondering,  do you have a dog ?
    The brown patches could be caused by urine .
    Also l'm wondering if some areas could be caused by poor drainage. I'm no expert though!

    We do have a dog yes , but how sudden the brown patches appear made me think I could be something else, this garden was bare about 3 months ago mainly hard compacted dirty, the grass now looks 100% better but a few weeks ago there wasn’t any patches now there coming quick and fast. I think I’m fighting a losing battle
