How to revitalise my Peony

What should I do, I just bought a Peony in May planted it and dead headed it when it finished, it’s still standing up straight but all the leaves have turned brown at the tips is this leaf burn and how do I treat it should I cut it back and replant it or leave it alone.

Leave it alone. It's becoming dormant. It may have had a little sun scorch, but it won't damage it long term in any way.
In spring you can give it a general feed.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Thank you Fairygirl
  • I would be inclined to give it a weak feed of liquid tomato feed. You say you only planted it in May and that it has flowered. Peonies do not like being moved, they often take a year or two to flower after being newly planted so yours has excelled itself. A little feed now will help it along as it still has a couple of months growing time. Do not be disappointed if it fails to flower for the next couple of years.
