Tomatoes Bush type

Morning all, I,m looking at bush type tommies and as usual i know Nothing about them, I will have room for (2) next year in the greenhouse and again has anyone got experience of which ones are good ,small cherry type could be good but which ones to try ?. would I be correct getting some 10 litre or maybe 15 litre  pots, for them, many of em AlanB

    I've never grown bush varieties other than in hanging baskets.
    I used to use 22L pots for cordon toms outside and the pots were well filled with roots by the end of the season. Bush varieties I imagine, would need even more root space.

  • If you want a red cherry type tomato which is a bush/determinate type, then two of the best varieties are called Red Alert, and Maskotka.
    If you do an online search, seeds for both of them should be fairly easy to find.
