HELP - Save Wisley’s trees

Once again Wisley’s tree belt is threatened with destruction - to make the A3 wider (and let you get to the traffic jams on the M25 a bit quicker 🙄).

The RHS is asking for help to sign a petition to show the strength of objection to this scheme.  If you love Wisley, like I do, then maybe you could help by signing ..... link below:

There was a lot of publicity about it before - but seems to be sneaking under the radar this time ☹️

The way this government regards specially protected sites and ancient trees is disgusting. Conservation of any form means absolutely nothing to them.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I don't recall any communications from the RHS about it, or anything in the magazine (although I might have overlooked that). You'd think they would make every effort to get RHS members onside, and they do send me emails from time to time about other things so they have the contact details.
