Help my Hydrangea please!

I was so intent on trying to keep my potted Hydrangea blue i took the advise i read on line and used vinegar on it. I diluted as per instructions but my plant looks so sad. I have tried putting lots of water on it since to 'wash it out'. Will it pick up or have i killed it? t i a

Hydrangeas really don’t do that well in pots, they are a very large plant that likes to be in open ground.
Anything in a container is different from a plant in the ground though. It's possible to keep them in a container, but that depends on the container, the variety and how mature it is, and the aftercare. Most of them don't do well long term without very good attention.
@Ilikeplants, it will depend on the general health of the shrub, the type it is, the age, and when you're pruning it. You might be pruning off the flowering shoots if you do it at the wrong time.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
