Snails or wasps?

Hello All, what are you thoughts on these aubergine? Something is eating them. They are the higher fruit rather than lower.

    would go for snails or slugs and then once they have made a hole the woodlice move in.

    I reckon slugs too, had the same on the lower pods of our climbing french beans, the devils.
