Lime Seedlings?!?

Hi everyone,

I have recently started to grow some seeds which were sold as lime seeds. However looking at images online, they don't look much like lime seedlings, are very spindly and have recently flowered with bright orange flowers. The seeds looked like the kind you'd get out of a lime fruit so I'm just a bit confused. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Amy

Looks like Centaurea macrocephala (Giant Knapweed.)  Where did you buy the seeds from?

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Mystery solved! They're Safflowers! I was gifted the seeds as part of a novelty 'grow your own Strawberry Daiquiri' set from Not On The High Street. The 'strawberry' seeds came to nothing and the 'lime' seeds turned into Safflowers. So clearly not the real deal!

    Thanks all x
