Passiflora - edulis - ID

Hello
I am wondering if anyone can help to ID this plant. It was bought as a passiflora edulis; we have a well-established caerulea in our polytunnel but the leaves look very different from the seedling, below. The seedling is 3" high.
Any thoughts would be welcome, thank you.

  • I had a passiflora that looked exactly like this. It was unidentified, and the frost killed it because I forgot where I put it  :s .

Can you take a photo horizontally of the stem? I.e. Rather than top down vertically in your current photo.
  • Yes, of course - here are 2 from different sides.

  • Yes, I think that's a passiflora edulis, it looks exactly like the one I had. And you're right, it looks completely different to a cerulea (or however you spell it!).

As I said, mine wasn't hardy and edulis also aren't hardy.
  • Thank you - that's reassuring.
