What's affecting my berries?

Can anyone advise what's causing these pale brown patches on my boysenberrirs please? The plant looks healthy, and the berries look fine as they are growing, but when they start to ripen they have these horrid patches on them that is spoiling the fruit.

Similar thing with some of our thornless blackberry. We have put it down to drought.

In the vast majority of cases it is caused by exposure to strong sun and called White Drupelet disorder:

Lots of it about this year including the 2 types of blackberry and boysenberry I grow here.

Thanks @BobTheGardener. They're on a North West facing fence so only get late evening sun, but the article says wind can do it too, and it has certainly been a windy summer round here so far!
