Your heucheras look like they're in that in between point where last year's foliage looks tatty and the new growth is pushing through. Just remove the tatty leaves and give them a decent amount of water, if they're planted in a shade/semi-shade they should do fine. It happens with anything evergreen, they go through a tough patch.
Vine weevil grubs eat the roots of plants and heucheras are their favourite meal. If you gently tug your plant if they have been there it will come away in your hand. Alternatively just dig up your plant, check the roots, pull off the dead leaves and replant.
They tend to be more of a problem when the plants are potted. Worth a look though.
There isn't really anything wrong with those heucheras though - from the photos. They drop old foliage all the time as they make new stuff. Just pull it away. The other thing they do is that they push themselves out of the ground a bit. If that happens, you can just add some more soil/compost round them, or lift and replant a bit lower. They just look like young plants which are establishing, so just make sure they don't get dried out if you have dry spells.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
