Calla Lilies

Last year we grew calla lilies in a container and we had plenty of flowers.  We took them out over winter and planted again this year, new compost.  We have lots of foliage but only about two flowers.  Does anyone know the answer?

Feed them to build up the bulbs to flowering size next year.  Flowers on bulbs are dependent on how the bulb was fed the previous summer, so if you want good flowers next year, dead head the plant when the lily flower goes green to stop it making seed, and give it a feed of a soluble fertiliser when you water it.

Have fed them but maybe not enough.  Thanks.

Should have asked if a tomato feed would suffice?

We use tomato feed once a week, should give you flowers next year.

I use tomato feed on all my flowering plants Except ericaceous, and it does the trick.
