The sticky greenfly catcher.


One thin paint brush and some brown parcel tape. (Lolly stick or Bic pen/cofee stirrer will suffice.
Wrap about 2cm of the end of the tape around something like the above-just to attach it to your 'tool' of choice. Then just wrap the tape in the opposite direction along the tool so that most of the 'tool' has sticky tape facing outwards.
Then just wipe your sticky greenfly/aphid catcher amongst the leaves of your house plant.
The tool can be scaled up-simply use a 3ft garden cane for your outdoor plants.

Have not tried the outdoor method as yet. I would suggest just using selectively as opposed to leaving in situ.
Incidently the 2nd photo is a close-up shot of the 1st photo........at the buisness end.
As @philippasmith2 says - all those lovely beneficial insects will just get caught as well
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
