Lawn Help
I've had building work going on and it's left my lawn quite patchy and with a few areas that have no grass at all anymore. I'd prefer not to turf the gaps as when I've had that done before, it never seems to blend in. I've been looking at using seeds but wonder if you lovely experts could give me some advice?
- What type of seeds should I buy? I've attached some photos of the grass as it is now. It's well overdue a cut as access has been limited at times during building works
- When I sow the seeds, should I scatter some all over the lawn to blend everything in or just concentrate on the areas that have gaps?
- I was going to sow the seeds around late September/early October when all of the building work will have finished. Would it be worth using fertiliser or some other treatment ahead of that to prepare the ground and if so, what do you guys recommend?
Many thanks
