Kerosene on lawn

I've just realised that when the builder took away the old oil boiler last week, he managed to trail kerosene across the lawn.  It's just a line of oil, not a puddle.  Can I do anything to neutralise it?

Think you are probably too late.
I presume you have tried  watering .

We had a similar thing happen when we had some fencing done ... we ended up lifting and replacing turves with whatever we could get in the middle of Lockdown ... not very happy about it 🙄

Thank you, @K67 and @Dovefromabove - it was raining when the builder was here, so hopefully that might have washed some of the oil off.  Hubby mowed the lawn today, which was when we noticed it... might just have to re-turf some bits, I guess.  Will wait and see.  Sorry to hear of your experience, Dove - did you get any redress from the fencer?

I knocked something off my payment ... he’s said nothing so far, and that was early March.
