    Photo of the garden?  Budget?

Do you have DIY skills or need to buy a kit or ready made?

  • Hi! Obelixx

I will try to take some of the pictures of the back garden. As for DIY skills I only know basic skills and I will need to buy and just assemble it to suit in my garden. I am just saving for this shed so I don't have a big budget.

Are there local suppliers near you where you can see summer houses in situ ?
As Obelixx says, a photo of the area and the size of it would be a help  :)

  • Thanks AnniD

There's quite a lot local suppliers near me and I will take pictures of it and post it later.

If you don't have a lot of space and its just for you, what about an arbour rather than a summerhouse?

It’s sometimes a good idea to hang around and chat to garden centre staff towards the end of summer when they are getting ready to take down the displays of garden sheds, summer hooded etc in preparation for winter. I was able to get an ex display  garden shed at half price 👍

  • Thanks, FlyDragon and Dovefromabove for your advice. Arbour would be nice but I need a space where I could really be on my own and just to relax, do things (arts&crafts), and learn to meditate, as I have been suffering from mental issues.

  • This is the photo of my back garden where you can see my wee space for herbs and vegetables and my greenhouse is at the back of the garage. My idea is to get rid of the hedge and put a corner/small summerhouse.

What do you keep in the garage?   If there is any spare space you could make a sanctuary at the end of that which would save a lot of work.  Add a window for light and  a divider to separate it from the main part.  Paint it cool, calm colours and add a comfy chair, a small table and shelves for your crafty stuff.
