Houseplant query - is this allowed?

I have a very old jasmine (white-flowered and scented  - the kind you get in garden centres near Mothers Day) - although it thrives, it hasn't flowered for about four years, and I'm not sure how to convince it to do its stuff.
All helpful suggestions gratefully recieved!

Hi @Xen and welcome to the forum 😊
Could it need repotting into fresh compost?
Has it been fed fairly regularly?

    Thankyou  :)

It has been fed regularly, I generally use Phostrogen for my houseplants, so that's what it has been getting.
I repotted  it last year, but no progress (other than upwards!)

try tomato food, less nitrogen ( feeds leaves ) and more Potash, ( feeds flowers )
    Devon.

Thank you - I will give it a try.  I was beginning to despair of it ever flowering again, but fingers crossed now.   :)
  • Hi! Xen. Have you tried trimming them or cutting the old shoots? That's what I did to my jasmine plant and they grow new shoots and flowers a lot and smell absolutely gorgeous.

    Hi!
Do you  think i should cut it right back (and at what time of the year?)  - it's about five and a half  feet tall, at the moment.  i do so want it to flower again. :)
