Identify a Plant

KatstezKatstez Posts: 19
Afternoon all,
can someone please tell me if this is a weed or a plant. I have left it as I was told it had a flower but haven’t seen any flowers so thinking maybe it is a weed. Thanking you in advance.

Could it be one of the asters?  They all have different names these days but it reminds me of one of mine.  They flower later so could be right.

However the close positioning to the fence is sometimes typical of a weed!  I think it will flower soon and worth a wait to see what it is.

It looks like it's getting ready to flower. On the ends of the branches it looks like buds might be forming, but the pictures are a bit blurry when you zoom in.

Looks like a traditional ‘Michaelmas Daisy’ to me too.
