Strawberries

I am losing almost all of my strawberries both ripe and unripe. I have also found a little pile of unripe fruits under leaves of other vegetables. What is taking them and how can I stop this? I have about 40 plants and only managed 6 fruits so far!

    Squirrels maybe? I caught them in the act scoffing mine - and to add insult to injury they chewed a hole through the netting!

    Squirrels or mice as SG suggested.
    I've also lots lots with some fruits jammed in the netting in an effort to pull them through. So to make life easier they've chewed a hole in my netting too - right in the middle.
    Those that are left then get eaten by slugs just as they ripen 😢
