Water Lilies

I am moving house soon and want to take some water lilies with me.  I will not have a pond immediately after the move. I wonder if anyone has any useful ideas re transport for a  journey of maximum 2 hours and maximum two weeks storage at the new house.  Any suggestions gratefully received.  Thank you.

I wonder if you could just use heavy duty poly bags, knotted, for the journey? If you put the plants into a bucket first, that would be even more stable. They wouldn't need to be completely submerged.
A decent sized bucket/trug would do to keep them in, or a small plastic dustbin, depending on the size they are, and how many you have.
I kept my pygmy one in a trug this year while I was making a slightly bigger pond especially for it. It's absolutely fine, and about to flower.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

We kept a water lily in a bucket when we moved. We didn't build a pond until this year so it's was in there for about 4 years. It was flowering in the bucket better than it is in the pond 🙄

They can be sent through the post at this time of year in poly bags, so long as the crown is under water once you move, they'll be fine there for months.
    Devon.
