Seeing the abundant specimens on display in the garden gallery thread it makes me very envious. I feel i do not have much going on in my garden and when it happens it does not last for long. Thanks everyone for your advise, inspiration and lovely photos. I will give my borders a good going over in the Autumn using your suggestions. I have no real desire to 'change' my soil, just make it perform to the best of its abilities
