Plant ID

Noticed this at the mother-in-law's yesterday but she's not sure what it is. A plant ID app she has suggested Jerusalem Artichoke but I'm not sure as it's approximately 5ft tall.

The leaves and the general size of the plant look like my perennial sunflower, Helianthus "Lemon Queen". But Jerusalem artichoke is also a sunflower (Helianthus tuberosus), so it stands to reason they'd look similar.

Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Would it not likely be taller if it was the artichoke?
