Mildew on honeysuckle

Hi 
I have 4 honeysuckle growing in different  parts of the garden all have mildew ,any Ideas what in doing wrong ,thanks

    Too dry. If they get dry, they get mildew.  Give it some water.

    Lots and lots of water ...two buckets full per plant every other day from now until mid September wouldn’t be too much, even if it’s rained. Start watering again in March.

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Thanks very much ,that explains it I haven't been watering  no where  near  enough cheers
