Rosie

I have recently planted a Rowan Tree two months ago the leaves have small reddish spots and the berries are withering, i am not sure what to do, it does have new buds coming and otherwise seems healthy.  Does anyone know if this is a problem or if there is a treatment.

It needs heap loads of water right now.. have you been giving it a deep water every other day or a long soak with a hose pipe every few days?

I agree ... it needs at least two buckets full of water every other day until mid September, even if it’s rained a bit. Water slowly so they the water soaks in rather than runs off the surface.
Start the watering regime again in mid March.
Young trees need help for the first few years in order to establish, even if they're types that are quite hardy and will eventually fend for themselves.
