Some type of vibernum or cotoneaster?
You can tell I'm useless at identifying shrubs!

    A cotoneaster of some type.
  • Could someone identify this plant for me please.
  • Thanks all, that's very helpful. Should I be concerned about any invasive roots? It's about 4 metres tall...

@janeevans you are better starting your own thread than using another's, but it's a veronica

@janeevans, l think your plant is some kind of Veronicastrum, but you might be better off starting a new thread in case it gets lost in this one  :)

@arbaschnonga, l don't think cotoneaster roots are invasive,  the plant itself can be described as invasive but l think it's because it propagates from berries and cuttings very easily.
I stand to be corrected though as l'm not 100% sure..
  • @AnniD Thanks for that, very helpful
