Plant ID please

Hi all, I planted a hanging basket and this cake up through it, does anyone know what it is, trailing plant with small purple/lilac flowers and sort of slender spikes as well and leaves?

Willowherb ...lovely in the wild but itll seed all over your garden ... the spiked things are seed pods full of fluffy seeds that drift on the air like thistledown.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

One of the many willowherbs. Those 'slender spikes' are full of seeds - get it out before it spreads them far and wide :)
