Beetle damage on wallflowers

Does anyone have natural remedies for swarms of tiny black beetles making lace out of my wallflowers and narstishium? Internet stats they are brassica beetles and I can only find links to chemical solutions.

thanks.

The old method was to coat a piece of cardboard with grease, or something sticky and pass it over the plants. The beetles jump up and stick to the grease. Never tried it so no idea if it works though.
Neem oil is a naturally occurring insecticide which might work.

Tried the grease thing and caught a few but not enough to make a difference. In the last two days I’ve seen healthy plants turn to husks.

Neem oil and yellow sticky traps tapped against the leaves by hand every day?
