Decking plants

Hi all,
Which low maintenance plants that will grow tall and bushy can I put on my decking to block the view of neighbours’ houses at the back?
Many thanks,
Martin

    Welcome  to the forum :)
Presumably you're talking about plants in large pots ?
Is it sunny, shady, and what sort of height are you talking about?
A photo may help to picture it.
  • Hi AnniD,
Yes, we’re looking for plants that would survive in large pots. The garden is south facing and I think something that grows up to about 5 feet would be ideal.
    Many thanks!

Bamboo is an obvious choice, and lovely if in a pot.  They sound beautiful in the breeze, look elegant (especially if trim out some of the lower leaves along the front plants), and seem pretty tough.  Consider long oval or rectangle stock tanks or such, with plenty of drainage holes along the lower back side, to give maximum space for the roots.  Also, consider some type of automatic watering system to make it very low maintenance.

I agree with Blue Onion, bamboo sounds like the ideal thing.  :)
