Honeysuckle dying??

Hi there

I’m having some honeysuckle issues. Plant was doing so well earlier in the year and lots of leaves and growth. Over the past 3 weeks the plant has lost all of its leaves - very sudden and not sure why. Gets good sun and water despite being close to the wall. Is this usual??

    Next to the wall, grass right next to it's feet,  and too much sun is the problem.
    It'll be very dehydrated, which is what they hate.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
