Japanese anemone
This is my Japanese anemone. It's a Honorine Jobert.

It is 2 years in since I bought it. It is one of two. Neither have never flowered. It August and it looks like it's about to die.
It's in a sheltered spot, west facing and get a reasonable amount of sunshine. My soil is london clay. Any idea what I might do to salvage?
Thanks in advance.

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hope it continues to do well, They're pretty tough plants, and can sometimes take a wee while to settle in after moving them, but it'll appreciate a bit of shade. You can take dead leaves off too, and that will help it's reserves of energy.
I still have a few flowers appearing on some of my taller ones - lovely on a dull day
