What is this on my cucumber plant?

I have two plants sharing a large pot in the greenhouse and producing lovely long, green, fine-tasting cucumbers. There are also some stubby yellowish fruits around an inch long that don't grow... Should I remove them?

    Yes, remove those - they won't come to anything and leaving them on the vine might stop the plants from producing more young fruit.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
