Disappointing first tomato. Can I rescue the rest?

I tried my first sweet million tomato today. Admittedly,I should've waited another day or two.
It was pulpy and not very juicy.
Have I done something wrong? Can I do anything to improve the texture of the babies?
In London. Keen but lazy.

    Wait for them to be ripe. Don't let the pots dry out completely. In todays heatwave, I watered this morning and will probably water again tonight.  We grow a variety of types. I don't think Sweet million is better than sweet 100.  Golden sunrise is fast becoming our favourite , along with gardeners delight.
