Help..Funny tadpole type bugs in my greenhouse

Hi, I’ve got bugs in my cucumber water trays in the greenhouse. They look like a cross between a maggot and a tadpole, the larger are white in colour, the smaller (Am guessing younger) brown. The bigger ones have tails like a tadpole would.  They were really active swimming about earlier in the day, but have gone quite still now. I’ve been growing for a few years but never seen these before. I’ve fished one out with the trowel to take a picture, as I couldn’t figure out how to upload the video.

Look up pictures of mosquito larvae, and see if those are similar.

Hi blue onion, I’ve tried that and also asked an experienced friend of mine and we didn’t think they were mosquito.

Try uploading the video to Youtube and posting the shortcut here - the motion may help someone to identify as we can't really see anything in the photo, unfortunately.

Could it be these ... the larvae of hoverflies? Beneficial insects 😊
