My Fennel has bolted!

    This is my fennel plant. Im sure I saw a bulb when I transplanted it, but I cant see it now. Theres new leaf growth happening. Perhaps Ill remove and put something else in its place.

    Looks like herb fennel to me and it's never going to produce an edible bulb.

    The herb ones are quite 'chunky' @tuffnelljohn, but you would be able to see a bulb if it was there. 
    The flowers are good for insects though, so it's a pity you took them off. It's up to you whether you keep it though. I love the foliage and flowers on them.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    It looks like its producing new flowers. Ill leave it if its beneficial to insects.

    It is and the seeds are good for you.
