When to feed fertiliser

Hi it’s me again mr Pain in the rear. Sorry to keep asking silly questions all the time but I’m new to gardening just like to make sure I’m doing it right. Right I’ve planted all my shrubs and perennials about 6 weeks ago now some with bone meal and some with root grow as I planted them. How long before I need to feed them is it around this time now or shall I not bother all are growing well and doing fine I have 7 hydrangea
2 hot pockers
1 foxglove digitas
burning bush
and 1 lupin I feed that yesterday when I cut the stalk.
Any help would be much appreciated

    They don't need fed again.
In spring, you can give them a general feed of B, F&Bone. Regular applications of compost or well rotted manure, especially in autumn, and in spring after the food, is far better, as it feeds the soil.
Too much food produces lots of soft growth, which can often make plants more susceptible to pests and diseases. It's really just annuals that need extra food through the year.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
