Pot based Privacy ideas - help!!
Hello all I was wondering if someone can help. I have an unusual situation where i need to get more privacy along a garden fence.
I cant plant into the ground as it all newly paved. I cant attach anything to the fence as it does not belong to me.
The fence is 1.7m high and 4m long and I was thinking of evergreen shrubs that would grow to about 2-2.1 meters in pots
I was looking at pleached photinias but I would need 3 or 4 and this is working out very expensive.
Does anyone have any ideas of fast growing evergreen shrubs that will do well in pots indefinitely.
I tried bamboo in pots but did not like the look of it
Thank you

Not sure any large shrub could stay in a pot indefinately though.
Are you set on evergreens or do you need the privacy only when you use the garden.
Although you say it's newly paved could you take up a few areas to be able to plant in the ground, it would certainly be cheaper than buying really large pots as you would need at the minimum a 50cm cube
