Dusty/Powdery Oak Leaves - Shrivelled and dying (Pics)

I have a few reasonably mature Oak trees in my garden and I notice all of them have this unpleasant, powdery white dusting on them.

It's mostly on the outer branches and leaves and it's clearly causing the leaves to wither and curl and die. New growth looks awful...

What is it and how do I deal with it please?

It's Powdery Mildew. Quite common to see on Oaks, especially on the young leaves. Unfortunately there is not much you can do. It's most likely due to the climate. Mild winters and stressed trees due to prolonged dry periods make it more likely. It may look worrying, but unlikely to cause any serious issues to the tree. You may see pre-mature leaf drop. On mature trees, they will be fine.
