Why is my lawn growing like this?

Hello

Lawn was seeded around 7 weeks ago. Grass has been cut 3 times (twice to highest settings and once to 2nd highest setting).
Since the 2nd cut the grass has been growing unevenly. The light green grass is barely growing and the dark green grass is almost twice the length (it’s been 5 days since last cut).
what is the likely cause of this? Been plenty of rain in past few weeks so not a lack of water.
I did make the mistake of cutting 1st two times with a bad blade. New one for 3rd cut. Think this caused a few brown tips. Could this be the cause? Or could a high nitrogen fertiliser fix this?
Any help and advice appreciated.
Thank you

Others may have a different opinion. I don't think there is anything wrong with your lawn. It's normal to see different growth rates all through the year. Sometimes, minor obstructions under the soil or un-even distribution of feeding can cause strong growth in some patches over other areas.

If after regular mowing, the growth continues to be uneven, then it's likely what I mentioned, or some compacted areas that may need aeration with a fork in the autumn time.

    I knew I'd seen this lawn before....and recently, @K67
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
