Should I plant climbing roses now or wait until later autumn?

Is it stupid time to put in two big climbing roses? I am going to take
out my Pilgrims, as I am utterly fed up and they were entirely the
wrong choice. I will put in two more Etoile. Should I wait until autumn
or go for it now?

Ordering bare root roses makes you wait though.
I suppose you can get to them easily and don't risk digging up or trampling anything else in the process?
I assume you have thought about rose sickness if you are replanting in the same spot.
