Shasta Daisies and slugs

Hi I think slugs are eating my shasta Daisies. What can I do? I didn't realise they liked them. Ugh. Egg shells around the edges of the plant? Going to have to put my beer traps out again!

    It looks like earwigs have been eating the petals and slugs and/or snails the leaves l think.
    Bumping this up in the hope that someone can confirm.

    Thanks! I don't know a lot about earwigs. Not even sure I would know what one looks like! Wondering if I should dig it up and put it in a container. I don't know how I can protect it really.

    Grass hoppers have been eating all my marigold flower buds and blooms.. do you have issue with them around your plants?  If you don't notice anything during the day.. probably earwigs and suggested.

    Haven't seen any grasshoppers but I suppose that could be it. Something sure likes munching on them! :(
