Dodgy Lawn

Hello!

As you can see, my garden is very much a work in progress and my gardening skills are somewhat limited.

We grew the lawn from seed about a year and a half ago. It started well but over the past couple of months has become really unattractive with patches growing really thick and strong whilst other sections look really weak and pathetic!

Any ideas on what I could do to improve the lawn and make it look consistently strong and healthy?

Cheers!

Yes, but less worried about the scorch marks. More the uneven growth! Unless you think both issues have the same cause?

Yes.  😁. I have a dog.. and the lush green areas are from the 'nutrients' in the urine.  Maybe when they pee on the grass when it's wet?  I only occasionally get scorch marks.. but get plenty of 'lush' patches.  Or a scorch mark surround by lush green growth.
Maybe someone can advise you on a lawn feed.. there are certain types that 'toughen' up the grass that is usually spread in fall (but can be used any time of year).. that might even out the color.
