Is this tomato ok to eat?

I have some Ailsa Craig tomato plants, and the first tomato that started growing on it is growing with ridges so it looks like the one in the picture (which is a picture from Google of a different variety, not the one on my plant which is still green). It is getting quite large and pressing against the tomato next to it so I am considering removing it, but wondered if it is OK to ripen on the window sill to eat, or if there is something wrong with it and it should therefore be discarded?

Any help would be appreciated 🙂

It fine - even with the writing..
Some tomatoes just grow that way.
Post a pic of it if you like

Is it the only tomato like the one pictured spookess or are yours all like that?  A photo of your tomato would be helpful.

These are pictures of the tomato in question from a few different angles. To be fair, it does seem to have filled out a bit from when it first appeared, apart from the large grooves opposite each other).
The other picture is of the rest of the tomatoes on the same truss which are the only ones on this whole plant, (and there's only 1 that has just started appearing on one of the other of the 3 plants i have and the 3rd doesn't have any at all,  not going to be a massive harvest!).
I am brand new to gardening - since May this year - so this is my first go at tomatoes - or any veg!

It'll be delicious when it's ripe

    Looks good to me too!

You seem to have removed a fair amount of leaves spookess?  If you take too many off before the fruit sets it can affect the quantity in my experience. The time to start pruning leaves is when they get a bit yellowy looking.

@herbaceous " spookess" is that a technical term?  It thought it referred to a female ghost.
