I only have one and it flowers every year. Only fields all round, so it can't need a partner!
  • thank you for your reply, it’s against a wall I’m not sure why it’s not flowering

    Welcome to the forum, @Lalford226

You don't need male and female plants in order to produce flowers, only to produce fruit (on certain plants like most hollies, for instance), so that won't be the reason why your shrub isn't flowering.  Is it very small?  Has it become very dry against the wall?  Is it growing well?

Can you post a photo?  That might help us to help you.   :)
