Bindweed?

Is this bindweed in the top corner of our garden? One of my neighbours who backs onto us the other side suggested it was as her next door neighbour who also backs onto us has it at the bottom of her garden which would then make sense. At the minute we've no plants up there for it to bother unless it goes further down along next doors hedge but we do want to put decking up there at some point and I'm worried now it will just carry on coming through the decking forever and we'll have no chance with it ☹

    Yes it looks like bindweed. If you can disentangle it from the trellis, then stuff it all into a small plastic bag, you can then spray it with glyphosate carefully inside the bag. Tie the bag up and just leave it to die.  You may need to do this several times however, it's a devil to kill. Seems to be a bad year for it, it's all over my garden again despite years of trying to get rid of it.
