Did I buy a Syringa bush?

Hi, I rescued this plant from casualty corner at diy store last year, label states Syringa bush, but I can't find a picture of Syringa that looks like mine, I have potted into bigger pot and it's growing well.  Is it just young?  

fingers crossed I uploaded pics correctly.

    Definitely not a syringa. Lilacs are woody plants.

    That’s not a syringa but it does look familiar? Hopefully someone on here can identify it.

    Looks like a "house plant".

    Thanks guys, It does look like a peace lily, it has survived outside since last year, it wasn't very cold here over winter.
