The red and white plant is a fuchsia which likes a shaded position safe from the midday sun. Some are frost hardy but, generally speaking, the ones with bigger, blousier flowers are less hardy so it will need shelter from frosts in winter. Thank you very much the fushia is in the shade till late afternoon and the aucuba dies have a few red berries on i will plant that one around the front as its shaded till late afternoon
