Plants for shade

Hi, 
Can anyone suggest plants for half shade / full shade other than hostas. I’ve moved into a property that had hostas around a border that doesn’t receive much sun at all and want to replace them with a different plant / mix of plants

    What kind of soil do you have and whereabouts are you?   These will make a huge difference to what will grow.  Soil can be sandy/loam/stony/chalk/clay/acid/neutral alkaline/free draining/moist but well drained and moist.   Your location will determine temperatures and rainfall.
