Please could you ID this plant and it’s likely pest

I’ve attached photos, which appear to be last photo taken, now showing first apologies.
one of the plant Id apps suggested it’s feijoa sellowiana...
we noticed that the leaves were getting eaten so we’ve cut it back substantially.
initially I found a few tiny caterpillars on the underside of leaves and I think that’s what may have been causing the damage. As you can see there is black fly, which have attacked a ornamental cherry at the front of the property. Your help with likely causes and how to treat (preferably organically if possible) is appreciated.
