I've got a pair of 3 litre cordyline pink passion hardy torbay palms which I'd like to plant next to each other and provide some form of screening. Just wondered how close to space them - is a foot and a half/40cms approx ok?
I have a cordyline which is quite old now and its over 6 feet tall with a leaf spread of 3 feet. Also as it gets taller the lower leaves drop which gives it the appearance of a palm tree. Maybe plant them 3-4 feet apart unless you want them to create a dense screen
